Facilities Care Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Care Specialist for a full-time role supporting the cleanliness, functionality, and appearance of our facilities. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining interior building cleanliness across three main locations, with a secondary focus on outdoor grounds maintenance as time allows. Key Responsibilities:

Interior Facilities Maintenance (Primary Focus):

• Perform regular cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation across all designated buildings.
• Maintain cleanliness in shared spaces including lobbies, break rooms, hallways, and meeting rooms.
• Conduct quarterly carpet cleaning and interior/exterior window cleaning at each location.
• Keep cleaning supplies stocked and notify the supervisor of low inventory.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules and quality standards.

Exterior Grounds Support (Secondary Focus):

• Assist with basic outdoor upkeep when time allows, such as litter pickup, sidewalk sweeping, and light landscaping.
• Support seasonal tasks, including snow and leaf removal or entryway upkeep.

Occasional Duties:

• Clean truck or equipment cabs located in the shop as needed.
• Assist with job trailer clean-up when requested.
• Provide support for special event setup/teardown and additional facility-related tasks as requested.

Locations Covered:

• This role serves three primary facilities, with travel between sites included as part of the regular schedule.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior custodial or facilities maintenance experience a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Self-motivated with strong time management and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Schedule & Hours:

• Full-time position offering a flexible schedule.
• Typical workdays fall Monday through Friday; occasional evening or weekend availability may be requested for special tasks.

Work Environment:

• Mix of indoor custodial work and light outdoor maintenance.
• Exposure to cleaning products, equipment, and seasonal weather conditions.
