Warehouse Associate

Reporting to the Distribution Manager the Warehouse Associate prepares and loads outgoing shipments by pulling product against pick tickets to fill an order. The Warehouse Associate may lift, stack, band and/or wrap product on skids or pallets in preparation for shipment while ensuring shipments are properly labeled and identified in accordance with documentation. Reports and documents discrepancies to Distribution Manager while supporting all activities as required for Distribution.

Responsibilities:

• Promotes and supports a safety-first work atmosphere. Follows and supports all company rules and policies
• Keeps department clean and organized following 5S methodology.
• Operates forklift, pallet jack, wrapping machine, scales, docking plate, etc. or any other equipment as required.
• Prepares shipments by pulling product against pick tickets and prepares them for shipment.
• Loads and unloads trucks as required.
• Supports Inventory activities such as physical counting at the required intervals.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience using MRP or other inventory program (Preferred)
• Reliable transportation and exceptional attendance record.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Pass Pre-Employment Background Check, Drug Screen and Physical
• Available to Work Overtime as Needed

Required Skills:

• Coachable. Able to follow direction and coordinate work with others as a Team.
• Ability to stand/walk working in a warehouse 75% of the time.
• Safe operation of forklifts
