Restaurant Server - Ann Arbor

Slows Bar BQ, an innovative and highly-regarded restaurant chain founded in Detroit, MI, is seeking Restaurant Servers to join our team at our new Ann Arbor location. As a server, you will play a vital role in providing our customers with an exceptional dining experience that exceeds their expectations. Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, taking orders, and serving food and beverages to our customers
• Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure customer orders are prepared accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tables, chairs, and service areas
• Accurately process cash and credit card transactions, adhere to cash handling and credit policies and procedures
• Collaborate with team members to provide an exceptional experience for our customers
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
• Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required
  
  

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year experience as a restaurant server
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of food and beverage service and sanitation guidelines
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
