Slows Bar BQ is looking for an energetic and passionate Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join our team in Ann Arbor. As an AGM, you will play a vital role in assisting the General Manager with daily operations, ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience while also supporting the kitchen and service teams.

- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations of the restaurant
- Help hire, train, and develop staff to deliver high-quality service
- Maintain a positive and safe work environment for all team members
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, placing orders as necessary
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage financial aspects of the restaurant, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Facilitate communication between staff and management
- Resolve customer complaints and maintain guest satisfaction
- Promote and maintain company culture and values

Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the restaurant industry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid understanding of financial management and budgeting processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Current ServSafe certification or equivalent preferred
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Previous catering and event management experience
