Duties
- Prepare and slice BBQ meats and deli items while maintaining quality and portion standards
- Prepare daily side dishes, sauces, and food items according to recipes and food safety guidelines
- Take customer orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide friendly customer service
- Assemble and package customer orders accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Restock shelves, arrange displays, and ensure all food items are properly labeled and organized for easy access
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas, serving counters, equipment, and dining areas
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and stocking procedures while assisting with general daily BBQ and deli operations
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once
- Basic knife skills and food preparation experience preferred
- Ability to follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40–50 pounds as needed
