What are the responsibilities and job description for the Oil Truck Driver position at Slomins?
Romeo's Fuel (a subsidiary of Slomin's Inc.) is widely known for our affordable fuel oil delivery prices serving Nassau and Suffolk County. We are a local home heating oil company that offers same-day delivery and emergency services in which homeowners can rely on.
We are currently looking for Full-Time Experienced Oil Drivers for Holtsville, NY. Qualified candidates will be responsible for delivering home heating oil to residential customers in an assigned territory. This is a Union position, Local 355.
Job Requirements:
- Class A or B CDL license with Hazmat and Tank endorsements
- At least 6 months to a year of experience
- Previous oil delivery experience a plus
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Undergo a background check (Having a criminal history does not automatically disqualify anyone from being hired.)
