We are seeking a self-motivated Legal Assistant to support our attorneys and ensure efficient case management and daily office operations in Springfield, MO.
What You'll Do
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and enhance office effectiveness
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, medical providers, and other parties involved in the case
- Gather, organize, and maintain case-related documentation and information
- Prepare and file legal documents and correspondence
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments
- Support case progression by maintaining organized files and tracking deadlines
- Previous experience as a Legal Assistant preferred
- Personal Injury law firm experience strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Working knowledge of case management software preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional judgment and attention to detail
- Spanish proficiency is a plus
