Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and agreements.
- Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations as necessary.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and provide insights based on research findings.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting practice areas.
- Assist clients with various legal matters, ensuring their rights are protected throughout the process.
- Manage case files efficiently, ensuring all documentation is accurate and organized.
Experience:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- Admission to the Alabama State Bar and in good standing.
- Previous experience in a law office setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong research skills with proficiency in legal research methodologies.
- Familiarity with Personal Injury Law, and other forms of civil litigation is highly desirable.
- Excellent legal drafting skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
