Role Description
This is a contract role for a Piano/Vocal Music Instructor and is located on-site in Hagerstown, MD. The instructor will be responsible for teaching private lessons, leading group sessions, and facilitating ensemble activities focused on piano and vocal skills. Responsibilities include designing lesson plans tailored to students' needs, promoting music theory and performance skills, and fostering a positive learning environment to inspire student growth and passion for music.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Piano performance and instruction
- Knowledge of Music Theory and Music Education
- Experience in leading Music Ensembles and vocal instruction
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Degree in Music or equivalent professional experience is preferred
- Ability to work effectively with students across varied ages and skill levels
- Previous teaching experience in music education is a plus
