Job Title: General Hardware Salesperson
Summary: Sells hardware such as nails, bolts, screws, hand- and power-tools, electrical equipment, plumbing supplies, garden tools, and paint by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following; other duties may be assigned:
Advises customers on tools, hardware, materials needed, and procedures to follow in order to complete the task the customer wishes to perform; informs customer about quality of tools, hardware, and equipment, and demonstrates use; estimates amount of paint required to cover given area and mixes paint; cuts screen, glass, wire, or window shades to specified size; prepares sales slip; receives payment or runs credit card; wraps or bags merchandise for customer; places new merchandise on display; takes inventory of stock; requisitions merchandise from stockroom; uses computer database to research availability of merchandise; processes orders.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
