Position Specifics:
Reports To: Store Manager/Corporate Parts Manager
Supervises: None
FLSA Code: Exempt
Purpose:
Responsible for parts operations within the store location to provide the highest level of external and internal customer satisfaction while maximizing return on investment through parts sales, inventory control, and expense control. Execute parts department standard processes
Responsibilities:
- Works with the Corporate Parts Manager to develop and follow an annual parts department budget to provide realistic, attainable and measurable parts sales and profit goals compatible with overall dealership financial and operational objectives
- Monitors parts sales on a monthly basis to ensure achievement of budgeted sales and profit goals
- Participates in the development and execution of the Corporate Parts Marketing Plan
- Assists with the development and training of parts personnel and may complete performance reviews of parts counter salespeople and parts staff
- Maintains an accurate and effective parts inventory control system that includes a perpetual and/or annual physical inventory and proper counter procedures
- Assists with counter sales to support customer needs
- Maintains all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working order
- May submit warranty claims and return claims within the required time frame to receive maximum credits allowed
- May perform recruiting, staffing and employee development activities
Job Requirements:
- 1 years experience in Parts Department operations
- Experience leading others
- Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
- Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups
- Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends
- Excellent customer service skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing
- Must maintain a good driving record in compliance with company Motor Vehicle Records criteria throughout employment
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check

Pay Information:
The salary pay range for this position is $50,000 to $100,000. This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base salary for this role. Based on factor such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.
In Season Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-5pm, Saturday 7am-12pm OR 7am-3pm (rotation determined by store)
Off Season/Winter Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-5pm
*In Season Hours may be extended (including Sundays) during peak seasons (planting, harvest, or any other peak selling season) to meet the needs of the store. Extended Hours are determined by the needs store and subject to change. *
*Off Season Hours are from November-March. Start and end date to winter hours is dependent on year and subject to change. *
