PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The MarTech Intern supports the Guest Loyalty and broader MarTech team by providing direct digital assistance to guests experiencing app and loyalty program issues, while also contributing analytical work that translates guest feedback into actionable recommendations for improving the app and web experience.
ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides guest-facing digital support: assisting app users and loyalty members with account issues, password resets, and general troubleshooting through digital channels.
- Analyzes guest feedback data: identifying trends, pain points, and opportunities to improve the app and web ordering experience.
- Synthesizes learnings from guest interactions: into clear summaries and recommendations for the MarTech and Digital Revenue teams.
- Supports the Sr. Coordinator of Guest Loyalty: with campaign coordination, platform tasks, and ad hoc projects as needed.
Slim Chickens systems principles and objectives: Has a thorough understanding of Slim Chickens' established operating systems (e.g., quality, security, office environment, company policies, safety) and recognizes the responsibility to stay updated on these systems and the role this position plays in supporting them.
Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives: This position description is designed to guide the activities of the Marketing Technology Intern. It is not meant to restrict the individual's creativity or limit their thinking, nor does it encompass all the tasks that may be required in this role.
Physical Activities: Primarily performed in an office environment. Involves entering and retrieving information on a computer and visually verifying details, often in small print. May also require presenting information to small or large groups.
Travel: Occasionally visits to local corporate stores.

Requirements and Competencies:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- Comfortable with data analysis and summarizing findings in a clear, actionable format
- Familiarity with mobile apps, loyalty programs, or digital ordering platforms a plus
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage tasks independently
Minimum Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, Graphic Design, or a related field
