Description
Seeking a PowerBuilder Software Developer to handle maintenance of legacy applications written in PowerBuilder.
Duties
- Participate in the design review sessions regarding the program area and the existing data sets and application.
- As needs arise, modify and support the applications until they can be replaced with a modern web-based version.
- Day to day tasks will include, but are not limited to implementing requirements by designing, coding, and testing new features.
- Documenting code-based business rules.
- Experience (12 Years)
- Is involved with all facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software.
- This is an 100% Onsite
- 84 months of experience with coding client-server relational database applications using PowerBuilder.
- 84 months of experience with Oracle and PL/SQL. Experience should include creating tables, stored procedures, triggers, views, and other objects.
- 48 months of experience with writing complex SQL queries and reports; experience with data manipulation, data migration, creation of ETL scripts.
- 48 Months experience as a lead developer on complex projects.
