This Database Architect position will function as database developer/architect supporting multiple software applications for the DOH Office of Professional Medical Conduct.
Duties
- Analysis and design of database objects and data collection systems, including the transformation of legislative requirements into system functionality.
- Data modelling.
- Software development tasks including Oracle PL/SQL and MS SQL Server coding, testing, and implementation.
- Troubleshooting issues in the application to find solutions;
- Preparation of technical and user documentation.
- Experience (15 Years)
- Determines database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications, and programming; reviews objectives with clients; evaluates current systems; provides database support by coding utilities, responding to user questions, and resolving problems.
- This is an 100% Onsite.
- 84 Months of experience in interpreting physical database models and experience with relational database concepts such as indexes, primary and foreign keys, and constraints using both Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
- 84 Months of experience developing using Oracle PL/SQL, including database packages, procedures, functions and triggers.
- 84 Months of experience in working with Oracle version 11g or later.
- 84 Months of experience in using Oracle programming tools (SQL*Plus, SQL*Loader or other Oracle database programming tools).
- 60 Months of experience developing using Microsoft Transact-SQL (T-SQL).
- 60 Months of experience in designing relational databases.
- 24 Months of experience in integrating multiple database schemas.
- 18 Months of experience in using Git.
