What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinic Manager position at SLIDELL - Chiro?
The Clinic Manager plays a fully hands-on role in the day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring patients and staff are supported at every level. You will lead by example, managing schedules, supervising staff, participating in patient care, and stepping in as a front desk team member or therapy technician when needed. This role is for someone proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to jump in wherever the clinic needs support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily clinic operations and ensure smooth patient flow
- Supervise, train, and mentor clinic staff while providing hands-on support
- Assist with patient care tasks including vitals, triage, and coordinating prescriptions
- Step in as a front desk team member to check in patients, answer calls, and handle scheduling as needed
- Act as a therapy technician when necessary, supporting treatments and patient care
- Maintain accurate scheduling, patient records, and inventory
- Verify insurance and support billing processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Communicate with attorneys regarding patient status and compliance when applicable
- Partner with HR on staffing, scheduling, and performance management
- Conduct routine audits and submit required reports
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare, clinic management, or a clinical role preferred
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Familiarity with HIPAA, insurance verification, and EHR systems. Knowledge of E-ClinicalWorks is a plus
- Bilingual skills are a plus, not required
Schedule:
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8:45 AM to 6:00 PM
- Tuesday: 6:45 AM to 4:00 PM
- Friday: 8:45 AM to 5:00 PM
- Occasional Saturdays for training
