One of the fastest growing brands in the Hair care is now embarking on a North American expansion to really leave its mark on the global hair industry.
Slick Gorilla is the UK’s biggest mens hair care brand, founded in the North of the UK by two brothers with a passion for hair, style and creativity, the brand has a huge amount of power at its core with this it has gained a global following and is stocked in key retail & mens focused destinations around the world.
We’re looking for driven, hard-working individuals to join our global team to support the Slick Gorilla brand growth in the North American market.
The ideal candidate will have a solid sales background, be a confident, modern minded, self-starter with a passion for forward thinking brands across Hair, Beauty, Fashion & Lifestyle. We’re interested to know what your interests are and what your future ambitions look like.
This role is sales focused working with our existing account across pro & end consumer hair, whilst acquiring new business and developing the brand in the US market.
All potential candidates must have B2B experience in Personal Care Hair & Beauty specialising in Distributor, Retail & Wholesale, those who do not need not apply we ask you kindly not to waste your time or ours.
The role will be based working from home however may also require travel away from home base ad hoc.
The role will encompass but not limited to the below;
Business development
Develop sales strategies to achieve pre set KPI's & objectives
Aquire new customers through a range of sales strategies
Explore and develop all potential avenues of new business
Develop longer term positive relationships with distributors, wholesalers and retailers
Promote the brand internal B2B platform to all potential customers within set region
Account management
Retain, develop and grow a network of client and customer accounts within set region
Support existing accounts to drive brand performance increasing sell through, visibility and more
Create regional promotions and sales drivers to boost brand activity with existing accounts
Ensure positive levels of interaction & communication with existing accounts
Support existing stakeholders to further develop existing accounts
Brand development
Plan, prepare & action trade show activities representing the brand
Develop and action a calendar of events and activations in collaboration with wider team
Network at events within the hair & associated industries
Develop and introduce relationships with new potential brand ambassadors
Develop collaboration & partnership opportunities for the brand with relevant partners
