What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Sliced?
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns or requests
- Clear and clean tables after guests have finished their meals
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and delivery
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
- Ability to sanitize tables, chairs, menus, and other dining areas
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards
- Experience in cash handling and cashiering preferred
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to build positive guest relations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Willingness to assist with bussing tables as needed
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with kitchen staff
