Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Early Morning Baker to join our locally owned bakery. In this role you will be preparing fresh baked goods, ensuring high-quality standards, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace and opening the store for the morning to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of baked goods, including scones, pastries, muffins, and other treats.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, dough presses
- Measure ingredients accurately using basic math skills
- Package baked items securely for retail display or catering orders while maintaining food safety standards
- We pride ourselves in maintaining a clean workspace by adhering to food safety management practices, including sanitation, cross contamination, and equipment cleaning
- We all assist customers in our store so be ready to use your customer service skill as well!
Qualifications
- Experience or passion in baking or food production within a bakery, restaurant, or catering environment
- Understanding of recipe adherence
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations in the food industry
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail
- Customer service orientation with the ability to work collaboratively within a team

Pay: $14.25 - $17.25 per hour
