Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Cashier / Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and smooth service experience. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive guest services
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
- Operate POS systems such as Toast
- Handle guest inquiries via phone and in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and waiting area
- Assist with guest seating, ensuring timely service flow
- Support the food service team by coordinating guest orders when necessary
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, guest relations, and customer service throughout all interactions
- Have RBT Certificate
Skills
- Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette
- Experience in restaurant or hotel guest services enhances effectiveness in this role
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and guest relations best practices
- Ability to work well within a team and maintain professionalism at all times
