About the Role:

The Registered Nurse Supervisor Skilled plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care within our healthcare facility. This position involves overseeing nursing staff, coordinating patient care activities, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. The supervisor will be responsible for developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures that enhance patient outcomes and staff performance. Additionally, this role requires effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to foster a collaborative environment. Ultimately, the Registered Nurse Supervisor Skilled is dedicated to promoting a culture of excellence in patient care and nursing practice.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Connecticut
• A minimum of 1 years of nursing experience, or with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• IV Certification 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in nursing administration or a related field.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal patient care.
• Conduct regular assessments of patient care practices and implement improvements as necessary.
• Coordinate patient care activities, including admissions, discharges, and transfers, to ensure seamless transitions.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures, conducting audits and quality assurance checks.
• Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare teams to address concerns and enhance patient satisfaction.
