We are a general dentistry practice with multiple specialty dentists searching for a mature, dynamic, and motivated individual with an affable personality that also possesses great tenacity and ability to multi-task in a busy dental office setting.
We are looking for a long term PART-TIME candidate with AT LEAST 2 YEARS previous experience for front desk/receptionist duties at a dental office. Candidate must POSSESS FAMILIARITY with Dentrix practice management software in order to qualify for this position.
Job responsibilities:
- Self-starter able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Candidate should have strong communication and organizational skills
- Must be well versed in all aspects of Dentrix, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Basic knowledge of dental billing, PPO insurance, and dental terminology.
- Strong computer, internet, verbal, writing, and math skills.
- You will be greeting patients as they enter the office
- Manage patient scheduling for all the working doctors/specialists in a productive and profitable manner
- Communicating with insurance companies and coordinating with them to ensure eligibilities are checked prior to patient visit
- Must be familiar with all aspects of processing of dental claims via electronic billing
- Assisting in collections/patient copays, posting of payments in Dentrix
- Filing and pulling charts
- Applicants must possess integrity and excellent interpersonal skills. Must have willingness to learn.
- Manage patient scheduling and direct patient traffic flow
- Present treatment plans to patients and organize and present financial arrangements to patients
- Manage specialist referral process
- Ensure that records are stored securely and in compliance with privacy and security regulations
- Ability to accept constructive criticism.
- Must have graduated high school, post high school education preferred
Knowledge or Fluency in Spanish
