Sleepy Creek Pet Lodge is seeking an experienced and passionate Professional Pet Groomer to fill our team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in high-quality grooming, values pet safety and comfort, and enjoys working in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Large clientele base and built in business with boarding/daycare departure services. Front desk staff takes care of scheduling and check-in/checkouts so you can just focus on grooming. Compensation: Commission-based pay: 50–60%, based on experience
Responsibilities: Perform professional grooming services including bathing, brushing, haircuts, nail trims, and ear care Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of pets at all times Handle pets calmly and confidently, including those with special grooming needs Maintain a clean and organized grooming workspace Work both independently and collaboratively with team members Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of professional grooming experience required Grooming certification is a plus Excellent animal handling and safety skills Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently Strong teamwork and communication skills Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
