Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment.
• Handle various cleaning tasks such as floor care, chemical agent handling, and the use of cleaning equipment to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Maintain public areas by cleaning lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other shared spaces with precision and efficiency.
• Follow hotel housekeeping management procedures, including adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) for chemical handling and sanitation protocols.
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to cleaning supplies or furniture moving while practicing proper manual handling techniques.
• Ensure all cleaning activities comply with hotel emergency procedures and safety regulations to promote a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or special cleaning needs, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.

Experience

• Prior hotel housekeeping experience or custodial experience is highly preferred; familiarity with janitorial and industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability in floor cleaning, vacuuming, sanitation, and the use of various cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of hotel housekeeping management systems and hospitality standards enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
• Experience handling chemical agents safely and understanding safety data sheets (SDS) is essential for maintaining a safe work environment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude that enhances guest experiences in a hospitality setting.
