We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping department. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures for all areas of the facility.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Train new staff on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance their experience.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff performance and supply usage.
Experience
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and janitorial practices.
- Previous hotel experience is preferred but not mandatory; custodial or industrial cleaning experience will also be considered.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
