Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards
- Maintain high standards of floor care by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure guest comfort
- Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to promote a safe environment for guests and staff
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding cleanliness, sanitation, and guest privacy
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed to uphold the highest standards of hygiene
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning equipment is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with an energetic approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward guest service
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, or both depending on scheduling needs
- Prior hotel experience or custodial experience is a plus; housekeeping management experience is beneficial but not required
