What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enterprise Architect (Contract Role) position at SLED IT Solutions Inc?
Summary
The Contractor shall provide a Enterprise Architect whose responsibilities include the contractor’s project deliverables and serving as the primary point of contact for the task completion.
Mandatory Requirements
The proposed Enterprise Architect must meet the following mandatory requirements:
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in IT solution or enterprise architecture, including responsibilities for architecture, development, or integrations.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience designing and implementing cloud-native applications using Microsoft .NET Core (6.0 or higher), RESTful APIs, and microservices architectures.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience designing or implementing systems hosted in Azure or AWS, including identity, and network configurations.
- Demonstrated experience defining or implementing container orchestration using Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or equivalent).
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience integrating enterprise applications using APIs, event driven architecture, or message queues.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience developing or maintaining enterprise architecture artifacts (System Architecture Document, Interface Control Document, Data Flow Diagrams, System Security Plan).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
The proposed Enterprise Architect may also meet the following:
- Ten (10) years total enterprise or solution architecture experience.
- Experience modernizing legacy systems into .NET Core microservices or hybrid cloud environments.
- Hands on experience with Blazor, ASP.NET Core Minimal APIs, OpenTelemetry, .NET Aspire.
- Familiarity with NIST 800-53 security controls and Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) principles.
- Experience developing high availability (HA) or disaster recovery (DR) designs.
- Possession of one or more certifications:
- TOGAF 9 Certified Architect
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
