Automation Testing Lead (contract position)

About the Role

The role involves Automation Testing Lead initiatives, managing teams, and ensuring the successful execution of Automation Testing Lead cycles for large-scale enterprise systems for one of our prestigious client.

***The Candidate shall meet the qualifications below:

• Minimum seven(7) years of experience in Automation testing, software engineering or IT system development.
• At least four (4) years of experience in a lead role managing automation testing initiatives.
• At least four (4) years of experience designing and maintaining UFT automation frameworks using VBScript, including reusable components, object repositories, and error handling.
• At least four (4) years designing automation frameworks for web, API, or batch applications.
• At least four (4) years of experience implementing automation strategies, including coverage planning and regression optimization.
• At least four (4) years of experience using Selenium or equivalent frameworks in addition to UFT.
• At least four (4) years translating functional requirements into automation scenarios.
• At least four (4) years executing cross-browser and cross-platform automation testing.
• At least four (4) years using SQL for test data preparation.
• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in a Business Administration, Information Technology(IT) or Engineering Field.
• Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis.
• Possesses of a *Master's degree in a Business Administration, IT or Engineering field.
• Minimum ten(10) years of cumulative experience in automation testing, software engineering, or software development.
• At least seven(7) years of cumulative experience developing automation frameworks using UFT (VBScript) AND/OR modern tools such as Selenium or katalon Studio integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
• Minimum five(5) years of experience integrating automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines, including automated execution reporting and pass/fail gating.
• At least three(3) years of hands-on experience using katalon Studio for automation framework development.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience achieving measurable automation outcomes:
• Sustaining >= 65% automated coverage of regression test suite.
• Ensuring automated test execution stability with =< 5% test flakiness rate.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience supporting large scale enterprise benefit systems(eg: Unemployment Insurance or Disability Insurance) meeting defined large-scale enterprise system criteria.

Required Skills/certs:

• Possesses one or more of the below certifications:

a. Katalon Certified Professional.

b. ISTQB Test Automation Engineer.

c. Certified Selenium Professional, CP-SAT, Foundation.

d. Certified Selenium Professional, CP-SAT, Advanced.

e. Certified Selenium Professional, CP-SAT, Expert.

Preferred Education:

• Possesses a Master's degree in a Business Administration, IT or Engineering field.
