Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure a hygienic environment in accordance with health standards
- Conduct floor cleaning and floor care activities such as vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces
- Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items
- Dust surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and vents to eliminate dust buildup and improve air quality
- Handle manual lifting of supplies, furniture, or heavy items safely during cleaning routines
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas when applicable, including patios or entryways with outdoor work experience
Skills
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping management with janitorial expertise
- Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floors, and sanitation procedures
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with clear client communication abilities
- Skilled in time management to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled periods
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents and proper handling of cleaning supplies
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks involved in housekeeping duties
- Experience with outdoor work environments when required by property needs
