Working Assistant Landsc. Construction Foreman

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Working Assistant to support the Construction Foreman in managing construction projects. This role is vital in ensuring smooth daily operations, supervising landscaping and maintenance activities, and assisting with team coordination on-site. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, leadership, and a strong understanding of horticulture, landscaping, and construction processes to contribute to successful project completion. Duties

• Assist the Construction Foreman in overseeing daily site activities and ensuring project milestones are met efficiently
• Support landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, gardening, plant identification, and tree care to maintain aesthetic standards
• Supervise and coordinate crew members during landscaping, irrigation management, and general site maintenance efforts
• Help manage irrigation systems and ensure proper functioning across construction projects
• Monitor safety protocols and enforce site safety regulations among team members
• Conduct routine inspections of the worksite to identify maintenance needs and ensure quality standards are upheld

Experience

• Prior experience in landscaping, horticulture, or gardening is highly desirable
• Demonstrated supervising or crew management experience in construction or land development projects
• Knowledge of plant identification, lawn care techniques, irrigation systems, and tree care practices
• Hands-on construction experience with a focus on site maintenance and land improvement projects
• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively
• Familiarity with construction projects or similar environments is a plus
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining site safety and quality standards . Must have 3-5 years experience and have valid Virginia Drivers Licesne
