QA Tech

The Quality Technician is responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining accurate product traceability documentation (iBase) required for final part shipment. This role ensures that all quality documents, serial numbers, and manufacturing records are complete, accurate, and uploaded to the customer portal for review and retrieval. The Quality Technician supports production, supply chain, and planning teams by executing SAP transactions, validating data, and ensuring compliance with customer and internal quality requirements.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain iBase documentation packages that provide full traceability of manufactured products.
• Upload documentation records to the customer portal, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.
• Execute SAP transactions related to work orders, serial numbers, and material traceability.
• Review manufacturing and quality records for compliance with internal standards and customer specifications.
• Communicate with Production, Supply Chain, Planning, and Quality teams to obtain missing information or correct discrepancies.
• Support shipping documentation readiness by ensuring all required product records are available and approved.
• Maintain high-quality documentation control practices, including version control, proper labeling, and secure archiving.
• Assist in internal or customer audits by providing required documentation.
• Identify improvement opportunities in documentation processes and contribute to standard work updates.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with established work instructions (WI) and quality procedures.
• High school diploma required; associate degree in a technical or quality‑related field preferred.
• Experience in documentation control, quality support, or manufacturing environments is beneficial.
• Proficient with SAP (work orders, serial numbers) and Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and understand basic manufacturing/quality documents.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
