JOB SUMMARY:
This is an entry level job in our bindery, wide format finishing and mail preparation department. We have been in business for over 42 years and are continuing to expand with business growing rapidly. We are searching for one more reliable and determined team member. This is an entry level job with room for advancement for a candidate that demonstrates high levels of performance and the desire AND ability to learn quickly . If you do not want to learn ALL of the skills listed in the summary below, you will not be considered for this job. But if you do want to learn and grow, we are willing to train if you meet the education requirements below.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
- Must be proficient with a computer
- MUST be able to read a ruler and add fractions
- Math skills to be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- High school diploma or equivalent
SKILL SUMMARY - WHAT YOU WILL BE LEARNING:
- Programmable paper cutter
- Numbering & perforating machine
- Inserter – NeoPost DS85 or Hasler M8500 table top model
- Tabber – Astro table top
- Morgana Autocreaser or Graphic Wizard digital creaser
- Perfect bind equipment
- Wire-O bind equipment
- Wide format finishing skills including mounting and laminating
SPECIAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to listen, understand and communicate in English effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to prioritize jobs
- Excellent attention to detail and follow up skills; highly organized
- Willingness to learn new bindery equipment
- Ensure that equipment and workstation is maintained and kept reasonably clean.
- Maintain mailing supply and shipping supply inventories
- Quality Control
- Keep the store clean, take out trash daily, keep parking lots swept clean
- Perform other duties as assigned
