Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Packaging & Product Designer to support our Creative team across a growing portfolio of brands and product categories.This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, design-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across both creative development and production execution. You will partner closely with the Creative Director to bring packaging and product concepts to life, supporting everything from new design ideation to final production files.  


This role requires someone who can operate with speed, precision, and flexibility, managing multiple projects and high SKU volume across tight timelines.


Key Responsibilities

Design & Creative Development

  • Support the development of new packaging concepts, label designs, and seasonal collections across multiple brands 
  • Translate creative direction into thoughtful, retail-ready design solutions, contributing to ideation for new product launches 
  • Design and refine primary and secondary packaging across various formats and retailers 
  • Create supporting assets, including PDP visuals, presentations, and marketing materials 
  • Develop customer-facing presentations, digital renderings, and visual mockups to support Sales and bring concepts to life 
  • Support fast-turn creative needs for retailer pitches, including updates, mockups, and presentation materials 
  • Translate customer sell-in feedback into actionable design updates, partnering cross-functionally to refine and execute packaging and product concepts
  • Monitor competitors, product innovation and market dynamics to continue to enhance and evolve our product portfolio


Production & Artwork Execution

  • Prepare and maintain production-ready files, including dielines, mechanicals, and versioning 
  • Execute artwork updates across SKUs, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all deliverables 
  • Support color matching, material callouts, and print production specifications 
  • Prepare CADs to be sent for sample reviews, and manage markups, and revisions through production cycles 
  • Ensure all files meet brand standards and manufacturing requirements
  • Partner with the Creative Director and Product Development teams on ceramic/vessel and packaging execution 
  • Assist in translating design concepts into feasible, cost-effective production solutions 
  • Review samples and proofs, providing feedback to ensure alignment with design intent


Cross-Functional & Workflow Management

  • Maintain organized file systems, naming conventions, and version control across all brands
  • Support managing multiple projects simultaneously across tight deadlines
  • Communicate clearly with internal teams on updates, timelines, and deliverables 
  • Support communication with external vendors and manufacturers as needed 
  • Help manage timelines and ensure projects stay on track from concept through production


Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Graphic Design/ Digital Design and related fields
  • 3 years of experience in design at an agency or brand environment, with a focus on packaging, product, or CPG brands 
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating packaging design and layout skills 
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) 
  • Ability to create 2-D/3-D renderings of product preferred
  • Working knowledge of print production, dielines, and packaging specifications 
  • Experience supporting high SKU volume or fast-paced retail environments is a strong plus 
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail 
  • Clear communicator with the ability to take direction and manage feedback effectively 
  • Ability to balance creative thinking with production accuracy
