Position Overview
We are seeking a Trial Paralegal to work in our Trial Department. Experience with Child Victims Act, Adult Survivors Act, negligence and/or personal injury cases is required. The ideal candidate will have trial experience assisting a trial team both in the court and the office. Experience in preparing and organizing extensive trial documents is also required. Must be reliable and professional to work as part of our close-knit team. A successful candidate should have excellent communication and writing skills; must be highly organized and detail oriented.
Responsibilities
- Communicating with clients.
- Organizing evidence and exhibits
- Preparing and exchanging discovery demands, responses and authorizations.
- Obtaining and exchanging medical records.
- Managing trial technology
- Court filings.
- Other administrative duties as needed.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Notary Public required or appointment required within 90 days of hire.
- Paralegal Certification preferred.
