Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney (Hybrid – Orange County, CA)

We are seeking a Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to manage your own caseload with autonomy, while being supported by experienced assistants and hearing representatives, allowing you to focus on litigation strategy and case resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a caseload of workers’ compensation defense matters from inception through resolution
- Attend hearings, depositions, and trials
- Prepare pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence
- Review medical records and develop case strategy
- Conduct discovery and manage litigation deadlines
- Communicate with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel
Qualifications:
- Active member in good standing with the California State Bar
- Experience in workers’ compensation defense preferred
- Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to manage a caseload in a fast-paced environment
Additional Details:
- Hybrid position based in Orange County, CA
- Travel required to WCAB venues in OC, LA, and surrounding counties
- Attorneys are given autonomy to manage their own files while supported by a collaborative team
