Overnight Studio Cleaner & Lead

Slate is a commercial cleaning company specializing in overnight and scheduled janitorial services for high-standard client sites. We utilize detailed checklists, photo documentation, and app-based time and quality tracking to ensure exceptional results.

We are seeking a dedicated 2-person team (Cleaner and Lead) to service boutique fitness studios in Matthews and Charlotte, NC. This part-time, overnight role is ideal for individuals who thrive working independently and take pride in maintaining immaculate environments.

Key responsibilities include:

• Deep cleaning fitness studio spaces, including equipment, floors, mirrors, restrooms, lobby, and retail areas
• Taking before and after photos at each location for quality documentation
• Following a detailed bilingual cleaning checklist to ensure thoroughness
• Clocking in and out via a mobile app at each site
• (Lead) Managing inventory of cleaning supplies and placing restocking orders
• (Lead) Overseeing cleaner attendance and coordinating same-night replacement coverage when necessary
  
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Comfortable working overnight and independently with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in using a smartphone for app-based clock-in/out and photo documentation
• Ability to follow a detailed cleaning checklist consistently
• Able to lift approximately 25 lbs and perform frequent bending/kneeling, standing throughout the shift
• English proficiency sufficient to follow instructions and complete tasks
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Reliable personal vehicle to drive between route locations
• Consistent availability on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday nights for overnight shifts starting at 11:00 PM
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in commercial or janitorial cleaning
• Experience in a lead or supervisory role, such as managing attendance or coordinating a small team
• Spanish language proficiency

• Competitive hourly pay: $17/hr for Cleaner, $19/hr for Lead
• Performance bonuses for high-quality ratings (up to $700/month rating bonus potential)
