What are the responsibilities and job description for the Brewery Bartender/Server position at Slate Town Brewing Co?
We are looking for an enthusiastic brewery beer tender and food server to provide a classic brew pub experience. Good beertenders will be able to have an understanding and knowlegde about the beers and brewery and converse with guests accordingly. Compensation includes salary and tips.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present bar menu
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies including kegs of beer. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
Skills
- Resume and proven working experience with the public.
- Excellent knowledge of beer styles helpful, but we will train
- Computer literacy
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Ability to stand on feet, move fast while carrying trays of food and pints for up to 6 hours.
- Positive friendly demeanor and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
