HWL Requisition:Samaritan Medical Center-AN-0750 Acute Rehab Unit Registered Nurse 100-mile radius rule 12hr Nights - weekend, holiday and call required, if applicable 7p-7:30a Must have a current RN license BLS required ACLS required Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing Traveler must have completed at least 1 successful traveler assignment Minimum 1 - 2 years of clinical nursing experience Inpatient Rehabilitation experience preferred Possesses a thorough knowledge of nursing principles, ability to provide quality patient care and ability to assess patient's needs, e.g. clinical, teaching, mental and spiritual Must recognize safety issues to self and others and be able to assess and implement use of lifts or move patients in a safe manner Must be able to function well in stressful situations and have good, creative, problem-solving skills. Assess, plan, and implement patient care plans Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Monitor patient progress and document outcomes Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans Maintain compliance with facility policies and nursing standards Strong leadership skills with ability to prioritize and delegate May be required to assume duties as a charge nurse Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills required
