Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Group Leader for Facilities and Maintenance to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and improvement of our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for leading a team of technicians, ensuring equipment reliability, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
What You Get To Do
- Lead and supervise the facilities and maintenance team to ensure timely and effective maintenance of equipment and infrastructure.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and support manufacturing goals.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Manage maintenance budgets, inventory, and procurement of tools and spare parts.
- Oversee facility systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building management systems.
- Respond to emergency maintenance issues and coordinate corrective actions.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff, promoting continuous improvement and skill development.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years of experience in facilities or maintenance roles within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of OSHA and other relevant safety regulations.
