Essential Functions
Oversees the general administration of the development review process for the City.
Tracks and coordinates commercial projects that involve multiple departments, jurisdictions, and points of contact.
Manages the development and administration of the divisor's budget to include estimating staffing, equipment, and supply needs.
Oversees and facilitates the Development Review Committee and the pre-development meetings.
Serves as in internal project manager for complex, commercial development projects. Lead and assist with special projects.
Serves as an ombudsman to the development and business community.
Prepares agenda items, make public presentations, coordinates, with other community groups.
Additional Duties
Assist with customer service issues, responding to inquiries, and coordinating with other departments.
Interviews, selects, supervises, develops, and counsels personnel according to established City policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Performs related work as assigned.
Education, Experience, And Licenses
Requires a Bachelor's Degree in planning, public administration, or closely related field.
Requires two years development or closely related experience.
