What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st Shift Boarder position at Slane Hosiery Mills?
Slane Hosiery Mills is a manufacturing company in the textile industry hiring experienced manufacturing associates. We are currently searching for Boarders.
This is a 6:30 AM-3:30 PM position.
SUMMARY
- To ensure that socks are neatly boarded and are 1st quality before they go to the packing stage.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lifts socks from buggies to boarding bins.
- Places socks on boarding forms.
- Straightens heels and toes.
- Inspects front and back of sock for defects
Additional Responsibilities:
- Must be able to read, speak, and understand English.
- Work as a team and maintain production in a timely manner.
- Maintain consistent attendance.
- Abide by all safety regulations.
- Be comfortable in a manufacturing setting with loud noise and exposure to heat.
- Stand for long periods of time.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Inspect product and evaluate quality.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $9.50 per hour
