Senior Project Manager

Slane Co. is partnering with a privately held construction services company who is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex site development projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role oversees budgets, schedules, field coordination, client communication, permitting, and cross-functional project teams to ensure predictable, high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage major clearing, grading, and site development projects with ownership of budget, schedule, and quality.
• Oversee field teams, subcontractors, and equipment planning to keep operations efficient and aligned.
• Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining communication and ensuring expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage permitting, regulatory compliance, and project documentation.
• Conduct regular site visits to support crews, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high safety and quality standards.
• Identify risks early and drive proactive solutions to keep projects on track.
• Mentor and support junior project managers and field leaders.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in heavy civil, site development, or earthwork project management.
• Proven success running multi-million-dollar projects from bid through closeout.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, production rates, budgets, and scheduling.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients, engineers, and field teams.
• Experience with permitting and local/regional regulatory requirements.
• Organized, proactive, and able to operate with urgency when needed.
