SL Green Realty Corp. is currently seeking an Associate to join their Leasing team. This opportunity is ideal for someone seeking a high-energy, entrepreneurial, team-oriented, real estate environment. The candidate will work together with one of the firm’s Leasing Vice Presidents, as well as one Senior Vice President, and will be responsible for marketing space within 8 properties comprising over 10MM square feet in New York City.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare marketing materials and lead site inspections with tenants and tenant representatives
• Maintain listings, floor plans, tour books, vacancy sheets, e-flyers
• Field and respond to all space inquiries
• Initiate preparation of available spaces, work with operations and construction departments to communicate guidelines
• Maintain market-comparable transactions listings for all properties
• Research competitive availabilities using CoStar and other resources
• Prepare/update internal reporting documents and leasing status updates
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with brokers and prospective tenants
• Canvass the market to identify potential tenants; and review industry publications to identify potential national and regional tenants, as well as industry trends
• Work with senior leasing agents to structure competitive offers/term sheets
• Support senior leasing agents throughout the full leasing transaction process
• Review leases to ensure compliance with term sheets
• Monitor any post-lease signing action items such as tenant meetings with operations and/or construction and delivery of any required notices; stack plan updates and updating option tracking sheets
• Perform analysis of proposed deal terms for internal review and consideration
