Skyworks is looking to further enhance its sales team with the addition of a Regional Sales Manager of the Southeast US. Primary responsibilities will be the management of all selling resources in the territory, enabling the selling of Skyworks’ extensive product portfolio into both established and new accounts in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida. The position will report to the Director of Area Sales.

Primary responsibilities will be the management of all selling resources in the territory, enabling the selling of Skyworks’ extensive product portfolio into both established and new accounts in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida. The position will report to the Director of Area Sales.
Skyworks product portfolio is extensive and diverse and covers the following applications:
- Smart Energy, IoT markets, Bluetooth Low Energy, Zigbee, LoRA, Sigfox for connected home and smart city
- Automotive, Cellular telematics, V2X, RKE and Infotainment
- WiFi, 802.11ac and 802.11ax for Networking, Set-Top- Box and Access Points
- Infrastructure, Base station, Small Cell and Connectivity
- Responsible for all sales activities for the Southeast US Region, including setting territory sales strategy and directing Manufacturers Representative resources
- Design and execute territory strategy to meet or exceed annual and quarterly revenue and design targets, along with business objectives
- Drive design in efforts during all phases of sales process: device selection, design, prototype, and production
- Serve as Global Account Manager for select territory accounts to drive Skyworks’ strategy across all locations in conjunction with local market resources
- Provide first line Skyworks management interface with customer base as well as Distribution partners
- Create and develop relationships with key territory customers
- Develop relationships and conduct regular dialogue with territory distributor management to drive Skyworks demand creation
- Clearly articulate (and escalate, as needed) customer needs, along with industry trends to sales management and product lines
- Arrange and drive quarterly Manufacturers Representative and Distribution business reviews
The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of the Semiconductor market including customers, markets, applications and competitors.

- Ability to solve basic technical issues or seek proper resource
- Needs to possess excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
- Must demonstrate ability to address multiple product lines and product segments
- BSEE or equivalent with 15 years of OEM Sales experience in semiconductor industry in Southeast US
- Proven strategic selling success managing complex multi-national accounts with US and APAC locations
- Smart Metering/Smart-Grid market sales experience desired
