What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Aide/Caregiver position at SkyWest Assisted Living?
SkyWest Assisted Living is a 16-bed, locally owned, facility in Canyon Texas. We are looking for a kitchen manager who has a caregiver's heart. The kitchen manager would be responsible for
- Creating menus according to diets and needs
- Shopping for groceries
- Cooking home-cooked meals
- Keeping a clean and well maintained kitchen
- Keeping up with dietary and health code guidelines
- Training staff in the kitchen
- Assisting the residents with daily needs
- Helping the caregiver on the floor
- Other duties as assigned
This position does not have a set schedule. Hours range from 7am-4pm to 7am-8pm depending on scheduling needs. This position is not a kitchen only position, kitchen shifts are responsible for helping on the floor as well.
A background and a drug test will be done prior to working.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
