Primary Job Duties
As a Technical Publications Specialist your tasks will be as follows:
- Reports to the Manager of Program Development
- Assists in uploading and distribution of all Maintenance related online manuals
- Assist in requesting, receiving, sorting and insertion of Technical Manual revisions
- Communicate via email and phone with various vendors and manufacturers in regard to technical data
- Assist in maintaining the current revision status register
- Constantly auditing all of our Technical Manuals
- Repetitive tasks
Minimum Requirements
- Familiarity with:
- o SkyWest company policies and procedures preferred
o File exchange, moving folders and files on different servers
o Good auditing practices and attention to details
o Technical Manual organization
o MHIRJ (CRJ) and Embraer (ERJ) Manuals (preferred)
- o SkyWest company policies and procedures preferred
- Experience using Skytrack, SkyWestonline-Techview, Microsoft office, Notepad , Adobe Acrobat Pro and SkyWestOnline (preferred)
- Knowledge of XML or SGML (preferred)
Physical and Other Requirements
- This position requires sitting at a computer for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
- This position is located at HDQ (St. George, UT) and is a desk job (8 – 5) typically. Remote work is not an option.
