We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Specialist to join our finance team. This role is critical in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting pricing and inventory controls, and ensuring smooth monthly close processes. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain pricing control processes and ensure timely adjustments based on metal market fluctuations
- Oversee inventory accounting and controls to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Assist with monthly financial close processes
- Monitor and report on financial variances
- Provide support for Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) functions
- Track and monitor tooling amortizations and tooling billings
- Collaborate with external accountants to provide documentation for statutory reporting
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Prior accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
