Responsibilities
- Play a key role in the company's quarterly and annual financial reporting process, including support of public company filings and other regulatory reporting requirements.
- Partner with teams across the organization to analyze financial results, investigate trends, and help ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external auditors on a variety of accounting and reporting matters.
- Support complex accounting analyses, research technical accounting issues, and help translate findings into meaningful business insights.
- Participate in special projects focused on process improvements, system enhancements, financial analysis, and operational initiatives.
- Prepare and present financial information to leadership while serving as a trusted resource on accounting and reporting-related questions.
- Stay current on evolving accounting guidance and reporting requirements while helping the team navigate new and complex accounting matters.
- Mentor and support less experienced team members as opportunities arise.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in public accounting, financial reporting, or corporate accounting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting concepts.
- Experience analyzing financial information and working through complex accounting issues.
- Comfortable working with large amounts of data and utilizing Excel to support analysis and reporting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and explain financial information to both accounting and non-accounting stakeholders.
- CPA, CPA-track, or other professional certifications are welcomed but not required.
- Experience with SAP or other large ERP systems is a plus.
