As an Activity Assistant, you will play an important role in helping our residents stay active, engaged, and connected. From games and crafts to special events, educational programs, and community outings, you will help create meaningful experiences and bring joy to the lives of those we serve.

Employment Type: Full-Time and/or Part-Time positions may be available based on current facility needs.
Schedule: Shift availability will vary based on current openings.
Pay: $12.77–$13.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with planning and leading engaging activities for residents.

• Encourage residents to participate in activities and events.

• Help lead games, arts and crafts, educational programs, music, social activities, and community outings.

• Assist with planning and supporting special events and celebrations.

• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.

• Help create a fun, welcoming, and engaging environment for residents.

• Follow facility policies and procedures while ensuring the safety and well-being of residents.

• Help make every day more meaningful for those we serve!

What We’re Looking For:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

• Coursework in recreation or a related field is preferred.

• Completion of a state-approved activity training course is preferred but not required.

• Previous experience leading recreational activities, arts and crafts, intellectual or educational activities, community outings, or similar programs is preferred.

• A positive, dependable, creative, and compassionate attitude.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
