Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with daily living activities, such as toileting, ambulating, and feeding
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participate in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Connecticut
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in a long-term care setting preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
