What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometric Technician position at Skyview EyeCare?
Our office is looking to hire an outgoing, reliable full-time team member with great customer service skills. Must be a detail-oriented person with a positive attitude who is able to work in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-testing and special testing of patients (such as visual field tests, visual acuity, color vision testing, OCT-ONH and OCT-MAC, etc.)
- Preparation and cleaning of exam rooms and equipment
- Receptionist duties (such as answering the telephone, scheduling appointments, checking patients in/out, etc.)
- Insurance verifications and billing
- Contact lens training
Requirements:
- Ability to multi-task
- Teamwork skills
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Able to work Saturday
The hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 AM-6:00 PM and Saturdays 8:00 AM-2:00 PM with one or two days off a week.
Job Type: Full-time
